The office park that has stood on the edge of the Wavre North zoning area for twenty years is for sale. Two agents have been mandated by the owner, the bank Degroof Petercam, to find a buyer ready to bring it up to current market standards. The park, initially purchased by Cofinimmo, was developed in phases by the developer Codic from the beginning of the millennium. Codic has just received the permits to develop its new office complex, Start-Up Village, designed by Assar Architects, right next door. The project involves the phased construction of 17,000 m² of new office space in 5 buildings (each with a 3,500 m² floor area). On the outskirts of Wavre, the competition will be tough in the coming years: a few metres away, BVI.be has also launched a major mixed project intended to accommodate companies working mainly in the biotechnology sector. Fortunately for the (future) owners, Walloon Brabant still suffers from a structural lack of quality, well-located and affordable real estate.
