David holds a Master of Science degree in Electrotechnical Engineering, a Masters Degree in Automation, and an MBA from INSEAD.
After spending 11 years with Siemens in a variety of roles including engineering, project management, sales and business development, David joined Schneider Electric in 2007.
After holding a number of roles in China & Singapore, David was appointed Senior Vice President of the Industrial Automation Line of Business in 2012.
In 2014, David relocated back to Singapore to lead the newly created Process Automation organization for Asia Pacific, which is the combined Automation business of Schneider Electric (Discrete and Hybrid Industries) and recently acquired Invensys (Processing Industries). This organization has been set up to deliver a unique value proposition to our industrial customers thanks to the synergies and the tight integration of the combined portfolios from Schneider and Ex-Invensys, now covering the breadth and depth of the process automation market – from discrete, to hybrid and continuous process applications.
Since 2019, David is back in Europe as the CEO for the Belgium – Netherlands Cluster. His focus is on building a high impact, inclusive and diverse team to be in the best position to help customers and partners on their sustainability – efficiency and digitization journey.
