Dr. Johanna Sonnenburg

Dr. Johanna Sonnenburg is a freelance consultant, author, speaker and coach. She researches and teaches as an associate at the Center for Metropolitan Studies at the Technical University in Berlin. She studied architecture in Berlin and Edinburgh. In 2009, she founded the urban policy think tank “Think Berl!n”. In 2013, she received her Doctorate in Germany and the USA on the topic of airports as drivers for urban regions. She teaches as a visiting professor at the Technical University of Berlin and at the Leibniz University of Hanover. Member of the board of the Architects’ and Engineers’ Association of Berlin-Brandenburg, the advisory board of the Hermann Henselmann Foundation and the steering committee of the Initiative Stadt Neudenken. Since 2018, she works as a Project Manager Strategic Site Development for Tempelhof Airport. In 2020, she became a certified Life & Business coach.
