Kristiaan Borret, Brussels Capital Region’s bouwmeester maitre architecte (BMA) until the end of 2024, advocates for spatial quality in urban development. Formerly serving in Antwerp and currently also supervising two transformation areas in Amsterdam, he brings expertise to his role. Additionally, he is a professor of urban design at Ghent University since 2005.
