Stephanie Van de Voorde

Stephanie Van de Voorde is professor at the department of Architectural Engineering at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. During the past 20 years, she has built up extensive expertise in the field of construction history and young heritage. She explores how historical insights into 20th century building materials, building culture, deconstruction and reuse can be leveraged to address some of the most pressing challenges facing our built environment.
