ADEB, the association of Belgian
contractors for major works, has been looking for a
future director general for several months now to replace Didier Cartage,
who has already held this position for 18 years. It has set its sights on Pierre-Alain
Franck, who currently heads UPSI, the professional union for the
real estate sector, alongside Olivier Carrette, its managing
director. Pierre-Alain Franck will take up his post on 1 February and one of
his tasks will be to put into practice, with the help of the major Belgian
players gathered under the ADEB umbrella, the alliance “for greener and more
sustainable construction” that was recently sealed between all the federations
of the real estate sector, with the aim of achieving carbon neutrality to
schedule.
